Good morning my friend,
I’m so excited to learn,
What’s it like up there,
Now you’re there in turn.
Have you found your dear Mother,
Or others who were kind,
While you were here with us,
Now there to share all time?
Have you seen the throne room,
Is Paul holding court,
In praise of the Holy Father,
Saints and citizens to sort?
Is every food a delicacy,
Is every meal a banquet,
With only the finest wine served,
Are you near where Jesus sits?
As you learn which is your place,
Are you allowed misguided notions,
Can you take a sunset walk,
On a beach with mighty oceans?
Just one more question . . .
Can you choose to be a bumblebee?
A lion lazing the ground,
Or an eagle high in flight,
In peaceful clouds all around?
Heaven to me a mystery,
Only verse and voice to show,
Beyond my dreams and vision,
My spirit yearns to go.
