I am overcome with joy,
That I am here with my son,
It seems the years flew by,
That we were apart but a short time.
How God works these wonders,
Is not for me to understand,
He need not explain,
This mizzle of his grace.
Jesus and my son say bye for now,
I am to return from whence I came,
They stroll off hand in hand,
Over the ridge, beyond my view.
His voice tells me not to despair,
A place is held for me,
To rejoin my son in time,
When His commands here are done.
