Visiting Poet “If I Was a Cowgirl”

If I was a Cowgirl,
I would ride my horse all day,
Until it gets dark,
And I hear wolves howl like demons.

My horse will take me home and I will look up,
I see the stars twinkle like diamonds,
And when my horse runs fast,
The wind flows in my hair.

My horse will take me home,
While I look up at the stars,
Twinkling like diamonds,
As the wind flows in my hair.

After dinner, I sit on the bench outside,
I hear the crickets’ chirping sounds,
My horse neighing in the barn,
And the clip clop of hooves, all joining in song.
