Weekend Love

I pray you have a good weekend,
The kind full of peace and joy,
Not the one’s so busy,
Not found in your hobby decoy.

Restaurants won’t make it happen,
Nor hit movies played in the dark,
Not money to buy your dreams,
There is better to give it spark.

The good weekend of which I speak,
Is as simple as a touch you ought,
Showing a kindness undeserved,
A smile you’d rather not.

So put off all your chores,
Lighten up your heart,
Show others patience and love,
For your peaceful weekend start.
