Let’s keep things on time here,
Cause I’m a busy man,
But I take my religion seriously,
Every chance I can.
On Sunday I kneel and pray,
Shake hands and sing the songs,
I’m as present here as anyone,
My friends know I belong.
At Sunday noon, I check my watch,
To make sure I’m out on time,
Because I’m a busy man,
And must check on all that’s mine.
I arrived on time at the pearly gate,
“I’m ready to enter in,”
As he walked away, Peter said,
“I’m sorry but I’m a busy man.”
