We Are All Prodigals

When your mind begins to wander,
Or your heart goes astray,
Return your thoughts to eternity,
An infinity of endless days.

And if you fail seven times seven,
Gather sails of grateful prayer,
Find the peace of leeward winds,
You’re marked His permanent heir.

The voice of the spirit gives rise,
To a tsunami of his grace,
Engage the love within,
Where Jesus’ forgiveness awaits.
