Oh, my Texas, rich and lush,
My Texas home, rich and lush,
Of the Sabine, the Rio, and Frio,
Bluebonnets, oaks and sage brush.

Of sandy shores and pump jacks,
Music of the country kind,
Home of my Texas family,
Shiners and hill country wine.

Of deserts, sand, and rattlers,
Rabbits and prairie dogs too,
Of deer, cattle, and horses,
Of cowboys yelling, wahoo!

But now I live in Florida,
With beaches and ocean blue,
Of gentle rains and hurricanes,
Florida, I love you too!
