the lone voice to listen for, midst
moonlit misery,
while you weep for lack of sleep
as the demon thief slips
away with your rest.
I Am the creator of light
that you may never be lost
in the foul fog of your life, tossed
by injustice, unfairness
and uncertainty.
I Am alive in your faith, even
when you make bad choices;
my forgiveness reigns o’er
the weight of chains of sin
that bind you.
I Am peace and mercy,
like a fragrance in fresh pine trees,
wind’s whisper in summer breeze,
healing love on bended knee,
the sender of Jesus – your guarantee.
where can you find me when you’ve lost all hope?
where is your hope when you can’t find me?
pick up your faith; start walking,
and like Abram,
Trust I Am

I appreciate your response. My character is God. It is my belief that God holds all the answers, even if we don’t like all of them.
