Are you a sensitive soul,
Too often, too easily bruised,
Invisible for lack of notice,
Unaccepted or unapproved?
Do you sometimes reach out,
With a smile and kind word,
Your casual offers to help,
Rejected or never heard?
Are you accused of being a martyr,
Self-serving for attention,
Frequently misunderstood,
Suspected of pretension?
Rest in His assurance,
Kindness is not unseen,
From Him who matters most,
In His view you’re always seen.
Beautiful poem, it reminds me of myself.
