Drifting into a peaceful sleep,
I dreamt of my life story,
Written in pages of a book,
But it was too blurred to read,
Only hazy ink from an unplanned
dream. I slammed it shut!
I restored my face with hope,
Hope that sweet nectar from
a flower bloom could refresh
the clouded pond of time
filled with floating remnants of
my severed past.
Fevered sleep fastened my lips
as stripes of light flashed in the
darkness of my mind, denying
my effort to restore the obscured
pages, smeared by the cruel
sweep of a full moon broom.
