I lay upon my belly,An avoidance of being seen,I view some distant movement,Through skies of milky green. I crawl a crawl of fear,Watching for the shadow wraith,Sailing predator flying above,A swooping judge of fate. Slithering through the ochre dirt,To my hole to find safe shelterWithout a loricate shield,I bathe in heating swelter.

Imagine a rose of consequence,Sepal, petal, and thorn,Like a cross made of flowers,In our conscience to be worn. This flower intends to bless,The sweetness like her name,The fragrance of eternal life, aBouquet for you to claim.
